Description

A 3-week instructor led, self-paced (virtual) course which combines experiential meditation and practice  with  lecture for thorough background and health and physiological benefits and understanding of meditation.  Over the course of 3 weeks, you will view and participate in education and meditation training which provide the framework to set your individual meditation practice.

Instructors for this course are:  Karen A. Baker, PsyD, Clinical Psychologist, Patrick Massey, MD, PhD, MhD, and Nicole Watters, Intuitive Medium and Soul Alignment Emissary.

This course will help you:

  • Receive a basic overview of the physiological and psychological benefits and current research supporting a meditation practice
  • Discover how to develop a personal meditation practice for today’s world
  • Learn and practice breathing meditation practices
  • Learn and experience how to set and prepare yourself for meditation
  • Experience how to select and design your meditation environment
  • Gain a basic understanding of the historical background of meditation
